Getting here and getting around Belize
To San Ignacio from the airport in Belize City (PGIA Ladyville);
You can hire a taxi to the bus station in Belize City then catch a bus direct to San Ignacio, the trip takes roughly three hours. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi to take you from the airport to San Ignacio. The trip takes just over two hours by taxi.
To San Ignacio from Chetumal by bus;

Cost: $40Bz one way.
Leaves from the ADO bus station in Chetumal at 6am in the morning.
Returns from the bridge foot at Hawkesworth Bridge in Santa Elena just after 8am.
The trip takes five hours.
Local bus services leave San Ignacio bound for Belize City every hour starting at 4am every morning, approx. cost is $10Bz one way.
